Well, with a whole bunch of modifications, but the Ramps lets you easily do those if you want to. The modular design includes plug in stepper drivers and extruder control electronics on an Arduino Mega/Sainsmart MEGA shield for easy service, part replacement, upgrade-ability and expansion. But all things considered, the Ramps is still a valid choice as a control board, and it’s also what I personally use for my main printer. RAMPS interfaces an Arduino Mega with its powerful platform and has plenty room for expansion. It is designed to fit the entire electronics needed for a RepRap in one small package for low cost.
